What to Expect

It can be intimidating to visit a new church. What will they be wearing? How do they worship? Will I be welcome? At Calvary, we understand the questions and feelings that surround your first visit to a new place. We make every effort to make you feel welcome and right at home from the moment you first arrive and every time you return.

Calvary is a place where you'll find:

  • Friendly, caring people
  • A relaxed atmosphere
  • Clear answers from God's Word
  • Great worship and contemporary music
  • Quality nursery and children's programs

We invite you to drop in and see why Front Range Calvary has become a favorite place to worship for so many people.

As part of the Calvary Chapel fellowship of churches, we emphasize God's grace and love for us in a clear and understandable way. Our message comes simply from the Word of God, as we apply His unchanging truth in verse by verse study of the Bible. Our contemporary Christian music and casual, friendly worship style offer an inviting place to settle in and be refreshed. Drop in sometime and see!

We desire to exemplify the measure set by Jesus of an identifier of His disciple. Jesus says in John 13:35

"By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

May we be known for our love for one another...

  • DARREL WILMOTH

    PASTOR

I spent my early childhood in Ohio and West Virginia before moving to Colorado. After receiving Christ at age sixteen, I knew by age seventeen that my life would be one of service to my Savior. That same year I joined the US Army serving in the Infantry being Airborne and Air Assault Qualified.

After service to my country, there was still a calling deep inside to serve our Savior. Not knowing how or what that meant, I took a job in construction to start my civilian life. I soon met my future wife, Barbara, and the two of us opened a successful construction company. After praying for a church home for my family, we were led to Calvary Chapel Aurora where I eventually became the Administrative Pastor.

Over the years God used my knowledge of construction to assist churches across the nation in building and managing their construction projects. After eight years I was sent out to plant a church. The Lord led us to the north Denver area to plant Front Range Calvary in March of 2012.

I am excited about serving you as we all continue to grow in God’s daily sufficient grace.  Please feel free to email me or call the church.

  • SCOTT NANCE

    WORSHIP LEADER

Hi, my name is Scott Nance. My wife, Tricia, and I moved to the Brighton area in 2010 with our two children, Abby and Michael. I am a native of Colorado and grew up in the Arvada area where I graduated from Faith Christian High School in 1999. Tricia and I were married in 2003 while finishing college at the University of Colorado at Denver. Currently, I have the privilege of working with my dad as the Vice President of a commercial earthwork contractor here in the Denver Metro Area.

My absolute favorite thing to do is study the Word of God with a cup of coffee. However, I can occasionally be found on a river with my waders and fly rod fishing for trout. My family and I love spending time in the mountains and taking in the beauty of God’s Creation. At home, we enjoy cooking and growing our own fruits and vegetables and spending time together as a family.

Having the opportunity to serve the people at Front Range Calvary is an absolute joy. God has given me a passion for playing guitar and worshiping Him through music. The privilege of leading others into worship is something I take very seriously and pray that God alone is glorified and that His people are brought into His presence through the Spirit and in Truth. If you ever have any questions or would like to talk with me, please feel free to email me.

  • BARBARA WILMOTH

    CHILDRENS MINISTRY AND WOMENS MINISTRY

It is truly a privilege and honor to serve the Lord at Front Range Calvary. I grew up here in Colorado in a wonderful Christian home and came to know the Lord at an early age.

It wasn’t until I married my husband and started a family, that I really learned to surrender my life to the Lord. It has been a wonderful journey with him raising a family, starting businesses, and serving the Lord together. I love meeting with the ladies for Bible Studies, potlucks, and fellowship. It is a joy to walk with and serve alongside them, and it is a blessing to be a part of the Women’s ministry. If you ever have any questions or would like to talk with me, please feel email me.
